Things to do
Island Seaplane Service
With a background of over
forty-seven years of seaplane activity, the operators of
Island Seaplane Service have clocked up some 32,000
hours of accident free seaplane flying. The founder Pat
Magie is the National Seaplane Pilot of the year in 2000
and has a long history of working in Hollywood’s
blockbuster films. Your experience guarantees a window
seat and several tour options are accompanied by
seaplane flight training for pilots who already have a
pilot's license.
The Aloha Flight tour begins at the floating office
where you are welcomed and briefed upon the flight route
and sights that you will see. A water take-off is
followed by a flight path that is designed for superb
views of the Honolulu Harbor, Aloha Tower, Waikiki
Beach, Diamond Head & Koko Craters, Hanauma Bay, Sealife
Park, Pali Pass and the Arizona Memorial.
The Islander Flight tour incorporates the same
attractions with additional time to fly over the sites
of the Jurassic Park and Godzilla movies, Windmill Farm
and the Turtle Bay Hilton Hotel to name but a few.
Further flight itineraries are available on the Island
Seaplane Service’s Website and include a Catered Dinner
or Pupu Party with Air Tour packages.
